Nir Lahav

Hello and welcome!
My name is Nir Lahav. I have a PhD in physics from Bar-Ilan university in Israel. My field of study is Neuroscience and Consciousness studies. I use network theory, non linear dynamics and chaos. I developed the Relativistic Theory of Consciousness - a new physical theory in order to solve the hard problem of consciousness. Nowadays I'm doing my postdoc research in the Consciousness and Cognition lab, in Cambridge university, England to test my theory.

Since I remember myself, I wanted to understand the mysterious reality that we live in. In order to do so I chose to dedicate my life to science, philosophy and art. I love to share this amazing experience with others via lectures and other scientific activities that I produce. In Israel, I founded the secular spirituality group in order to show how we can use science, philosophy and art to create meaning in our lives and to live life to the fullest. I have three YouTube channels: The wonder of science, Secular spirituality and my personal channel. In addition, I initiated and host the secular spirituality podcast (In Hebrew). 

My interests includes, among others, neuroscience, cognitive science and consciousness studies, emergence and network theory, non-linear dynamics and chaos, relativity theory, the quantum measurement problem, cosmology, philosophy, movies, rock music and hiking.
